No Jimmy No Problem, Tailgate at Red Hare

Jimmy’s Not Coming Here But We Are Tailgating Anyway.

Seems Jimmy is not performing in the metro Atlanta area this year but you can’t keep a good group of Parrot Heads down. On Saturday, September 9^th, we will be having a tailgate party at Red Hare Brewing, one of our sponsors. Break out your finest tropical wear or club shirt and of course your favorite dancing flip flops (you may also want to bring a camp chair) and let’s show Red Hare what the Atlanta Parrot Head club is all about. Red Hare will open at 12:30 and  the music, which will start about 1, will be provided by the Tiki Brothers. The party will last until 5:30.  This event will be open to the public – so let’s try to round up some new members. A barbecue food truck will be on hand to provide some tasty cue.

Also Georgia state law SB85 goes into effect at the beginning of September. Basically what that means is you no longer pay an entry/tasting fee at the brewery nor do you have to have a wrist band checked off or exchange tickets for drinks. You will be able pay for individual drinks – much like going to the bar and you will be able to buy a limited amount of six packs, growlers, etc. to go. This is our first club function at the brewery. Let’s have a great turn out.
